Your privacy is important to us. With this privacy notice, we would like to inform you about the collection and processing of your personal data by participating in the Skill Dynamics training and performing the Skills-Gap Analysis, as well as the choice you can make concerning your personal data.

The aim of the Skill Dynamics is to further develop the skills of our Procurement and Supply Chain colleagues. The training is based on role-specific, individual learning plans covering areas where the participants will benefit the most. The role-specific learning plans are created from a Skills-Gap Analysis, to be completed by each participant.

Personal Data we collect and why

Any information provided by your management is only used to contact you to provide you with training materials and professional support, and to record and report your progress on the training.

Based on the role your manager has allocated to you and the outcome of the Skills-Gap Analysis, your individual learning plan is generated. Please note, that without participating in the Skills-Gap Analysis, it may not be possible for you to participate in the eLearning program. 

After your learning plan has been created, you will be invited to the Learning Management System (LMS). The LMS is where you will take your courses.

You will also get access to a Reporting Management Center (RMC), where you will see your course progression, your learner satisfaction, your knowledge application rate and your competence development. 

Who will receive access to your personal data and the report generated from the Skills-Gap Analysis and why?

You will be provided with access to your personal data, your Skills-Gap Analysis results and your role-specific, individual learning plan via an email and a link in that email. This email will be sent to you by Skill Dynamics after you have completed and submitted your Skills-Gap Analysis, you will also have access to your LMS and RMC via personal credentials which will be sent to you by Skill Dynamics. 

The executive sponsor of your organization and your line manager may have access to some or all of the following information: personal data, Skills-Gap Analysis results, learning plans, course progression, learner satisfaction and knowledge application rates and competence development for information purposes and helping you to implement the knowledge gained and to track and steer the organization’s progress overall. 

Our training provider, SiPM BVBA, with headquarters in Belgium, have access to your personal data to initiate the Skills-Gap analysis, for on-going service delivery, to generate the reports and for the purpose of issuing certificates at the end of your learning plan.

Our service provider - Microsoft Azure hosts Skill Dynamics systems and data on servers which are located in Ireland, a country under the European reference data protection law. Azure is deployed in Microsoft regional datacenters, which are protected by layers of defense-in-depth security. The defense-in-depth security is in use throughout every area of the facilities, including each physical server unit. Access to your data by recipients as described above may require the transfer of your personal data cross-border, including countries that may not provide the same level of data protection than provided in your country. However, appropriate data transfer and processing contracts are in place with such recipients of data to ensure an adequate level of data protection when your data is transferred cross-border.

How long will your personal data and your analysis be stored, by whom and where?

Personal data is stored in Microsoft Azure. At the end of the contract between your organization and SiPM BVBA, all personal data will be destroyed within Microsoft Azure, unless you or your management request deletion of data earlier. Reports extracted from Microsoft Azure and provided to the respective recipient within your organization, as described above, will likely be stored by them or your Human Resources department until the end of your employment. 

What rights do you have in respect to your personal data?

You have the right to access your personal data anytime. Please send an email to support@skilldynamics.com with the request to be provided with your personal data that is stored at Skill Dynamics. Also, you have the right to request the correction of incorrect data or to restrict or terminate the further processing of your personal data. Please note, termination of your personal data may lead to your inability to participate in the training program. Finally, you have the right to lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority, if you think that your privacy rights are violated.

In the event that personal information is compromised as a result of breach of security, we will promptly notify those persons whose personal information has been compromised as may be required by applicable law.

Is my consent necessary for the Registration?

Yes, it is! The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), effective as of 25th May 2018, requires your consent. We have implemented security measures on our systems and amended our procedures, to be aligned with the new regulation. Hence, we are compelled to have the consent of the learner to lawfully store and process their personal information. Your consent, being a single click on the checkbox, is necessary for your registration. A learner trying to register on the registration page will be unable to do so, until the checkbox has been ticked, as a clear confirmation of having read and approved the use of their information on our system.
